Project Description:

The Village of St. Anne has experienced numerous water main breaks in the past 5 -10 years. In the past several years, there have been 11 water main breaks along the project route which includes St. Anne High School along with several residences. St. Anne High School and residents served by the project route experienced frequent boil orders.

The mains on the project route were over 100 years old. The Village had made numerous repairs to the mains; however, the breaks were becoming more frequent, and it was determined that the mains were past their useful life.

If unfixed, the Village of St. Anne would have likely faced more recurrent and troublesome breaks. To avoid this, the Village commissioned Piggush Engineering to improve the water system. Together, we’re designing, constructing, and installing new 8” and 10” water mains to the project route. With our help, the Village of St. Anne can better serve their residents, including St. Anne High School, with reliable and healthy water access.
